I’m a freelance writer based in Bristol and specialise in the outdoors, travel and fitness. I’m also Digital Editor of BBC Countryfile Magazine.

While I enjoy travelling to far-flung places, I equally love exploring wild spots in Britain. Since working for BBC Countryfile Magazine I have discovered some incredible spots in the UK, which has made me appreciate the rich variety of the British landscape. I spend much of my free time trail running, hiking or wild swimming, but I also enjoy making things and am currently dabbling in silversmithing. More on this to come!

My work has appeared in the Guardian, BBC Countryfile Magazine, In the Moment, Cooler Magazine, Outside Times, Women’s Running, Women’s Cycling, BikeRadar and Runner’s World, among other publications.

I also wrote a book called The Vegetarian Pocket Bible.

Digital strategy is another area I have expertise in and I previously managed London Marathon Events and World Marathon Majors social media accounts, creating a successful social media strategy for the brand, which effectively grew audience and reach. I’ve since relaunched countryfile.com and grown the digital footprint of this popular BBC brand.
